On my way to work
On the train
But really in my dreams
I listen to music
I let it take me away
And, I imagine myself dancing
Dancing so passionately
I imagine expressing myself through each movement
I imagine sharing a story
I imagine being sexy, fierce, confident, and sensual
I want to tap into a side of myself I’ve never seen before but have imagined
There’s a woman inside of me that wants to come out
I dream about her
She gives me her ideas
She gives me her dreams
She gives me her vision
Some dreams I believe
Others I question
I become inspired
I cry
I welcome her
I push it all away
I want to embrace her
I am dreaming about becoming the woman of my dreams…
About The Post:
I decided to write a poem. Is it a poem? I am not sure! LOL! But, I was feeling poetic writing it. I have a 2 hour commute to work and during this time I find myself dreaming. I dream about the woman I want to become. I dream about where I could take my life. I dream about all the possibilities and I felt like sharing it here. I hope you enjoyed it!
