Welcome back to Part 2 of my Self-Love Mini Blog Post Series!
Today we’re talking about not allowing what other people think hold you back from doing the things you want to do.
I don’t know why this topic is so important to me, but I really believe that people should follow their hearts—no matter what others might think.

My Journey With Not Allowing What Other People Think Hold You Back
I’ve had my own moments where I’ve worried about what people would think, like when I shared my sober journey publicly or when I go to dance class and wonder if people I know are watching me.
But I did not allow other people’s possible thoughts to hold me back because for me it’s important to follow my hearts’ desires, dreams, and goals despite what other people may think of me.
When It’s Okay to Care What Others Think
Yes, there are times when you have to take into consideration other people’s thoughts and feelings because your choice might affect them. These people might be your loved ones, family, partner, etc. So you talk with them and make a choice together. And, even so, I believe the people that love you will find a way to support you.
Questions To Ask Yourself When You Are Worried About What Others Think
If you are worried about what other people think, ask yourself:
Are they living my life, or am I?
Because when we let what other people think dictate our choices, we miss out on what we want to experience for ourselves.
If this resonated with you and you’re looking for support in your self-love journey, I invite you to schedule a free 1:1 coaching session with me.
